How we work
The part you cannot see is the part that decides
Almost every failed shower fails underneath the tile — in the membrane, the falls or the junction detail — and almost none of it was ever photographed. By the time the smell reaches the hallway skirting, nobody can say what was under there or who put it there.
So the waterproofing does not get handed to whoever is free that week. The person who forms the falls is the person who membranes them, every stage is photographed with the room and the date recorded, and the record goes to you whether or not anybody ever asks for it.
The rest follows from the same idea. Dry lay before anything is fixed, so the cuts land where nobody looks. Adhesive coverage checked by lifting a tile at random rather than assuming. Movement joints where the standard puts them, not where they are easiest to hide.

Ninety seconds of setting out, bedding and levelling
Large-format tile is unforgiving. A two-millimetre lip across a 1,200 mm edge catches the light down the whole wall, and no amount of grout hides it.
So we notch, back-butter, bed and clip every slab, then lift one at random to check the adhesive coverage behind it before the row is locked in.
It is slower on the day, and it is the reason a floor is still flat when the builder comes back four years later.

Every job starts with a dry lay and a setting-out plan, so cuts land where nobody looks and full tiles land where everybody does.
The waterproofing is the job
Tiles are the part you see. The membrane underneath is the part that decides whether the room is still sound in fifteen years.

The tiler who sets out your floor is the tiler who grouts it. No handover, no drift in standards halfway through.

Every internal wet area is membraned to AS/NZS 3740 and photographed before screed and tile go down.

Substrates and toppings are checked against the structural drawings before we accept a floor for tiling.
